Weekly Wine Pick: L'Orangeraie Rose Vin De Pays D'Oc 2013

Can you have a hot and heavy fling with a certain brand of wine?  Lately, I've ignored all the other bottles lining the shelves for this young thing, a 2013 rosé that's a bit more refined then what you can usually buy in its price range.  When you're paying 10$ and change for a rosé, what you usually end up with is something that is so sickly sweet it's almost gag-worthy.  Not the case here! What I like about this rosé is that it's dry but still has some subtle sweetness to it that's not overpowering.  Here's the rundown for L'Orangeraie Rose Vin De Pays D'Oc 2013, a salmon-coloured wine that I've already bought three times this season.  Prepare to get hooked!

Tasting notes: Wild Strawberries, Floral, Grapefruit

Pair with: Seafood, Strong Cheeses (Blue)

Cost:  $ 10.95 CDN

Perks: This is the kind of wine that is so affordable you will want to bring it everywhere- BBQs, picnics, family reunions.  The label is also very beautiful, and makes me dream of being somewhere in the south of France.

Cons: Everyone will want to have a glass. Sharing your new love sometimes sucks.

Overall Glossless Rating (based on totally unscientific and arbitrary values): 8.5/10
